Town Of Windsor Summer Camp Assistant Manager in Windsor, Colorado
Days and hours will vary, Monday-Friday, ranging from 7am-6pm,approximately 8 hours per day, work hours will vary depending on morningand afternoon shifts, not to exceed 40 hours per week, salary negotiabledepending on experience, paid monthly. Camp Windsor will start May 14thand go through August 31, 2018. This seasonal position will not exceedsix months in length or 1,040 hours, whichever comes first.Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age. One year of experience working with children, obtained by workexperience and/or education related to youth development required. Previous experience working with a diverse population in a volunteeror past employment capacity preferred. Experience in an organized camp or related program preferred. Any equivalent combination of training and experience that providesevidence the applicant possesses the required knowledge, skills andabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. A valid Colorado driver's license that meets standards; ability tomaintain throughout employment with the town. Required to pass Town of Windsor background check, which includesTrails & CBI background, fingerprint checks, MVR, drug test, andreference checks. Per State of Colorado License Requirements: Must have currentcertifications in the following, or ability to obtain prior to workingwith school aged children:o CPR/AED/First Aideo Medication Administrationo FEMA 7.701.8o Standard Precautionso Mandatory Child Abuse ReporterDuties: Assist with the administration and supervision of a comprehensiveSummer Camp program by effectively planning, marketing, executing andevaluating safe and effective class curriculum and activities.
