Princess Cruises – We are currently searching for a highly motivated Undergraduate/Graduate and/or MBA student intern to join our dynamic Shore Operations department. The selected interns will work on departmental projects as well as participate in professional development and enrichment activities.

  • The program runs 10 weeks from June 11th - August 17th or June 18th – August 24th (Please note, END dates can be extended depending on department needs and students availability.)


  • Must be currently enrolled as an under graduate (junior standing or above) or graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher (will require transcripts) in a four year accredited College/University.

  • MUST NOT be a graduating senior in the summer.

  • Students under OPT and CPT status will not be considered.


  • Shore Operations – The intern will have the opportunity to assist in maturing content strategy, port operator interactions, gathering user generated content, reviewing content strategy as it relates to user reviews, and benchmarking comparable tour operator reviews to see if they enable guest content feedback in addition to written feedback. The projects will help develop an understanding of our current marketing for Shore Excursions and Onboard revenue. These projects will also help the intern understand the global quality of our business both on the vendor/operator side and on the guest marketing side.

  • Revenue Operations – The intern will have the opportunity to develop reports and analysis for MAPS, UPSELL, and move over cost. The projects will enhance critical thinking, analysis skills, as well as develop an understanding of how the industry is run from an operations standpoint.


  • Well organized and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers. Will be responsible to find your own lodging and must be willing to find reliable transportation to Santa Clarita. (Note: This is a suburb of Los Angeles. Public transportation is available but is limited.)

  • Must be authorized to work for all employers in the US.


  • Paid hourly; $18.00/hr. Undergraduate Students and $30.00/hr. Graduate Students.

  • (May include but not limited to): Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or Finance; International Business, Statistics and MBA’s.


  • Experience with MS Office, with intermediate level Excel and Power Point preferred, Strong analytical skill set with the ability to demonstrate prior experience with data interpretation, goal-oriented self-starter with an ability to work independently with periodic oversight and direction.

  • Depending on type of position, other specific programs may be required.
