This summer internship position reports to the Accounting Manager under the Corporate Accounting organization. The role supports various corporate accounting functions and oversight as well as support for financial reporting. Focus areas include:


  • Examine or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

  • Review corporate level business trends to assess accuracy of our financial reports.

  • Review accounting records of our international legal entities.

  • Preparation and completion of the Controller’s Binder.

  • Analyze complex technical accounting positions.

  • Prepare footnote disclosures in SEC filings.

  • Assist in preparation of audit work papers for quarter-end and/or year-end for internal and external audit.

  • Prepare, review, and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records, account reconciliations and analyses on an as needed basis.

  • Assist in designing internal controls.

  • Analyze tax impacts of s transactions.

  • Participate in special projects and assist in identifying process improvements for the team.

  • Other corporate accounting duties or supervision of duties as assigned. Requirements:

  • Major in BS Accountancy/Finance

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized; good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

  • Desire to gain experience in working in a multi-national environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Intern Program Overview

  • 10-12 week summer program

  • Hourly-based, paid internship, approximately 40 hours per week - June-August
