About the Product Marketing Manager MBA role:

As a PMM sitting at the center of the business, you will work to coordinate all facets of the business. You will craft the messaging and positioning for products and will conceive and execute innovative marketing programs that drive demand. You will become the expert on the buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria, and will create customer facing assets to meet your buyer at every point in the decision journey. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, excellent communication,, and leadership skills as you will be working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, creative, and product teams. In this role you will work on challenging projects that utilize your education and critical thinking abilities to have an impact on business initiatives.

The PMM MBA intern will own or have an impact on various projects that could include:

Defining buying personas and purchase paths to inform and create new content meeting buyers at every step in the decision journey

Working with partners to figure out how to help their GTM efforts scale

Leading focus groups and market research on buyer needs

Working with sales and customers to develop new customer case studies

Creating and executing campaign and social media strategies

Playing a key role in preparing for Dreamforce 2018


Pursuing an MBA degree

Bachelor’s degree from top undergrad

3-4 years of experience in marketing, technology or management consulting

Proven ability to juggle multiple projects quickly

Ability to be a self-starter, pick up projects and go

Extremely good communication skills - both verbal and written.

Develop innovative marketing campaigns and content to gain VP and C-level mindshare at businesses of all sizes

Produce high fidelity externally facing content including interactive experiences webinars, data sheets, solution guides, demo videos, infographics, blogs and more for multiple funnel stages.

Partner with our amazing team of Associate Creative Directors, Copywriters, Designers, Program and Managers to product multiple forms of content on an ongoing basis.

Partner with external agencies for specialized and newer assets.

Own the content creation process from ideation to brief, through every review cycle, and to publication.

Partner with campaigns, paid digital, email marketing, and website teams to develop a comprehensive content promotional plan and ensure content is promoted and distributed in an optimal way through every channel.

Create product demonstrations to showcase the power of our award winning product at Salesforce events like Dreamforce, customer events and at 3rd party events.

Create and manage marketing assets like videos, content and product assets for customer consumption that are compelling and relevant to companies of various sizes – from the smallest SMBs to the largest, most complex global enterprises.

Develop and assist in creating cross-functional plans and executing these plans for product launches. Travel required.

Develop content, demonstrations, presentations, impactful trainings and other assets that help our sales team create and close pipeline.

Confidently deliver presentations to audiences of all sizes (ranging from one person to thousands of people internal and external).

Work with a cross-functional team to accomplish annual goals and objectives.
