Epworth Children and Family Services Family Support Network Non-clinical Intern - Summer Semester in Saint Louis, Missouri

For 150 years, Epworth Children and Family Services has provided the St. Louis community with essential youth development services that have helped thousands of children overcome severe emotional and behavioral challenges caused by abuse or neglect. Currently there is a position open for a Family Support Network Intern. The Family Support Network MSW intern is responsible for providing ongoing in-home clinical services family/individual therapy and parent education on a weekly basis to families in St. Louis City or St. Louis County for children from birth to age 13.The successful candidate will be a graduate student in social work at Washington University, University of Missouri-St. Louis, or St. Louis University. FSN prefers candidates to have some experience working with youth under the age of 13 to some capacity, some experience in home visiting, and are focusing their studies on Children and Families and/or Mental Health; they must exhibit knowledge of clinical skills. Individuals who are bilingual or bicultural, particularly in Spanish, is preferred but not required.Must be at least 21 yeas of age. Must have own personal vehicle with auto insurance.
