Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Patient Advocacy and Professional Relations team in the External Affairs department located at our Ridgefield Connecticut facility. As an Intern, you will have an opportunity to contribute to the implementation of the Patient Engagement Model (PEM) which aims to engage with patients across the medicines lifecycle continuum in order to build better products and services. The Patient Advocacy Relations (PAR) team serves as strategic facilitators of patient engagement for the BIPI.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Assist the Associate Director of Patient Engagement (PE) with implementation of multiple patient engagement projects that facilitate cross functional collaboration

· Supporting business process improvements in support of PE

· Supporting implementation of PE programs

· Identify and help implement solutions that help capture, evaluate, and disseminate promising practices for patient engagement


Must be a graduate student in good academic standing.

Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.

Overall, cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.200 (on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up).

Major must be related to the field of internship.

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
