In this position you will support continuous improvement activities such as Lean Six Sigma projects and Kaizen events for production and functional teams. You will have the opportunity to work with various groups such as Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Sales/Marketing, and Human Resources to streamline business and manufacturing processes, improve quality, and reduce operation waste.


Suggest automation and improvement efficiencies for processes

Train, champion and sometimes lead improvement projects

Assist with identifying integration issues and coordinate the improvements

Facilitate processes to identify and implement initiatives/projects that reduce costs and improve process

Learn and use lean tools and principles including value stream maps, kaizen events and 5-s reviews.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Analytical expertise

Capability to convey information in understandable terms to all levels of the organization with appropriate formats

Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Excel

Skill and ability to:

Strategically motivate all levels regarding process improvement/change

Prepare a variety of comprehensive administrative and technical documents and reports

Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality

Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field from an accredited college or university.
