PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Our Junior Professional Intern Program offers an exciting opportunity for a potential career in SAP Digital Business Services. This position is based at SAP Office in Newtown Square, PA

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The Value Assurance Delivery Organization, a subdivision of SAP Digital Business Services, has the goal and mission to ensure optimal performance, availability and smooth operation of SAP S/4HANA solution as well as to optimize technical and business processes by delivering services to SAP customers. In this position, you will work on the activities below:

  • Setup and configuration of internal S/4HANA system for testing purposes

  • Build and maintain a Lessons Learned S/4HANA repository to share with team members

  • Support ongoing S/4HANA projects

  • Participate in roll-outs of S/4HANA services

  • Prepare S/4HANA Demos

  • Ensure quality and consistency around minimum documentation for all S/4HANA deliveries

  • Work on strategic initiatives such as Big Data/IoT/Machine Learning/Cloud/etc

This role provides opportunities to learn and work with SAP S/4HANA.

To meet the challenging requirements, you should be a quick learner with strong analytical skills. You should also be creative, open minded, and possess the ability to communicate and convince others based on technical facts and details. You should have an interest in Big Data or System Operations. As part of a global team you will be working closely with SAP Directors, Technical Account Director, Engineering Architects, and Technical Quality Managers along with Development and the global SAP Support Centers to assist our customers with their business solutions.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Physics, Math, Engineering or related field

  • Junior and Senior year students with related coursework experience required

  • Any SAP coursework is a plus or interest in:

  • Distribution/ Warehouse & Inventory Management/Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling/ Business Intelligence & Reporting/Data Warehouse

  • Experience in programming languages (e.g. Java, C , ABAP)

  • Excellent GPA

  • Candidate must be able to take a technical approach to issues, strong analytic and problem solving skills
