Job Description

Working with VF Sportswear will offer you a glimpse into the daily inner-workings of one of the largest global retail companies in the world. We offer year-round internship opportunities in over 15 departments, from Accounting to Visual Merchandising. Interns will be assigned a mentor to best facilitate learning and help foster a great internship experience.


  • Help Woven’s categories to organize the samples and mock ups

  • Build the boards and initiate the formats

  • Help filing up previous season wash locks / binders / trim cards

  • Create pitch sheets for new cads/patterns

  • Participate to research the trends for Woven’s categories

  • Adobe illustrator CS6/ Photoshop CS6 / Bridge, MS Excel / Word

Job Qualifications:

  • Must work well in a team environment and possess strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong PowerPoint & Excel skills preferred


Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM. Managers may be flexible on weekly scheduling for internships based on the student’s availability and the availability of the assigned mentor. Students are expected to work between 24-29 hours per week.

Additional Information:

Internships with VF Sportswear are based in New York, NY and we do not provide housing for students. The internship will start in June of 2018 and running for 10 weeks.
