Proudly family-owned and operated since 1873, as a fifth-generation family business we have built the best team in the industry with a culture of caring that treats every one of our employees as a trusted member of the Gilbane family.Day-to-Day OpportunityThis is a paid internship that will be held in the New York / New Jersey metropolitan area from June - August 2018.Under the direction of our project staff, our internship program is designed to expose students to the application of engineering and construction management principles.Intern responsibilities typically assist project engineers, project managers and superintendents with daily duties including but not limited to: assisting with project document flow, taking progress photos of jobsite, submittal review and approval process, RFI process, change management process, and other duties specific to the project.QualificationsOur goal is to hire 90% of our interns upon graduation, for this reason the ideal candidate will have confirmed their major in a related field and are eager to learn about a career in construction management.
