Copper Mountain Resort Summer Activities Attendant in Las Vegas, Nevada
Position's major responsibilities are interaction with guests, and the safety of the guests while participating in outdoor activities in a high alpine environment, which may include archery, Onewheel tour, guided hikes, arts & crafts, chair lift operation, and other outdoor activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an outdoor position; individuals must be at least 18 years old to work in this area.
The Activities Attednat will have excellent guest service and be willing to work with guests of all ages and cultures.
The Activities Attendant is customer service oriented which includes being friendly, outgoing, dependable and responsible. They interact with our guests throughout the day and help set the tone for the overall mountain.
The Activities Attendant is required to maintain and keep up guest relations and running and setting up the particular activities of the day. The Activties Attendant duties could include some lift operator duties including but not limited to upkeep all loading and unloading zones and making sure chairs are clean and dry.
Has a clean and welcoming apperance.
Maintain accurate daily records.
Must occasionally make quick decisions regarding the safety of multiple guests.
Must be able to maintain control and rational demeanor in emotionally charged situations involving guests and/or employees in situations that may have an audience.
Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Able to lift and carry 50+ pounds
Withstand extreme weather conditions for 10+ hours
Able to remain standing outside in all weather conditions
Guest service skills
Able to work in a team and individual setting
Work Holidays and weekends
Knowledge of local area/ resort. Bilingual a plus
Mustt have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry 50 yards.
Must be able to work in a standing position for up to 10 hours.
Must be able to work outside in temperatures below 32 degrees for up to 4 hours
Ski and Snowboard experience not required, but, recommended.
