Project Name:Fleet Strategy
Project Mission:We are a capital allocation business. Move from a World where Aircraft are assigned on an ad-hoc, first-come, and first-served basis to a more strategic and better planned world where Aircraft are Prioritized and Allocated based on Customer, Operational and Financial Metrics
Timing and Schedule:The internship will be scheduled from late May or early June 2018 through August 2018, to be initiated and concluded around the individual’s personal academic calendar.
Ensuring High Utilization of our current Fleet
Aircraft Disposition Strategy
Aligning the Fleet Strategy with the Future Market
Strategic financing aircraft in the fleet
Build electronic platform for the Capital Allocation Playbook (CAP) that can be used to communicate to key stakeholders elements of the fleet strategy to guide their everyday work, while ensuring competitive information remains protected to key stakeholders.
Take responsibility for getting the content up and running.
This information includes aircraft selection strategy, aircraft Utilization Strategy, Lease Return Strategy, Idle aircraft strategy, Aircraft Disposition Strategy, New Aircraft types and Strategic Innovation.
Current or recent major in Engineering, with an interest in exposure to Business Management and Operations.
Aptitude on a range of analytic tools and applications.
Demonstrated ability to manage and work with large complex databases
Able to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals on a global basis
Effective verbal and written communication skills
The candidate must qualify as a student intern, preferably undertaking a course of study leading to an engineering degree.

International travel may be required.
