Summer Intern Corporate Software Developer

Key Role:

Participate in the internal software development life cycle for Booz Allen corporate software applications, including the development of mobile apps for use by the Booz Allen Hamilton’s internal workforce. Participate in software development and coding activities. Perform a variety of tasks intended to demonstrate intern's technical capabilities. Learn about the Booz Allen systems development life cycle through direct engagement.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with front–end development in JavaScript, Angular, or React framework and CSS, HTML, JSON, and single page apps

-Experience with software development in areas of mobile apps, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), DevOps tools, including Gitlab, Docker, or Jenkins, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud

-Experience with Java in an academic or professional environment

-Knowledge of programming concepts, including class, method, hash, array, lists, struct, event handler, regression test, asynchronous requests, software development life cycle, user stories, acceptance testing, and application logging

-Ability to show completion of coursework resulting in rising senior status by August 2018

-Targeted college degree award by December 2017 or May or June 2018

-Current enrollment in a 4–year undergraduate college degree program

Additional Qualifications:

-College major in CS, Information Systems, or Information Systems Management
