Job Summary

The Data Science and Innovation Group in the Strategic Energy Analysis Center is in need of a talented undergrad intern who would like to learn about utility rates and is willing to dive deep into rate structures. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, have a basic understanding of power, electricity, and delivery. A background in database administration and/or software development would be nice, but not required. This candidate will work with a small team to maintain the Utility Rate Database (URDB). This position will focus on maintaining the URDB, which involves understanding utility rates, finding the rates and tariffs online, updating and maintaining the URDB database, and working with a team to ensure that all deliverables for the URDB are met.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a degree granting program, or graduated in the past 12 months from an accredited institution. Internship period cannot exceed 12 months past graduation. Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Please Note: Before interview selection, you will need to provide unofficial transcripts to verify GPA and full time enrollment.
