Help Foundation Summer Program Assistant Teacher in Euclid and Parma, Ohio
The HELP Summer Program offers services to hundreds of children and young adults between the ages of 5 and 22 whose needs cannot be met through a typical summer camp experience.
Intellectual and developmental disabilities are addressed by trained and experienced staff in an adapted facility. We are currently hiring for this Extended School Year (ESY) 6 week program for our Euclid and Parma Locations. The Program runs from June 9, 2018 through July 20, 2018.
As a Teacher Assistant, you will work in a fun, and caring environment and assist in providing oversight and instructions to your classroom team. Each classroom has approximately 10 students.
In addition to the students, you will be responsible for providing assistance to the Teacher and Classroom Aide as well as ensuring that the IEP goals are met for students.
You must be able to work the entire 6 weeks to be considered.
Must have at least 2 years of experience as a teacher assistant, one on one, paraprofessional or working with children and/or adults with special needs or;
A degree (or pursuing a degree) in Special Education or a related field of study
Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screening
