JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: The successful co-op student will be a member of the Pebble Plant Engineering team. This individual will work with Operations teams to deliver project implementation, data analysis, process control and documentation updates. The candidate will work with various value streams manufacturing products used in applications ranging from commodity metals to advanced aerospace.



  • Complete independent projects to advance Pebble Plant initiatives.
  • Complete data analysis to determine process capability, detect signals, identify trends and assist learning to identify improvements.
  • Assist in implementing projects supporting and aqueous metal refining process.

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Engineering program and at minimum sophomore status.
  • The co-op student will be required to complete a minimum of 640 work hours from the start date until the end of the term for which co-op credit is requested. This usually equates to 40 hours per week for 16 weeks.
  • The student must maintain at least a 2.7 GPA.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or be a lawful Permanent Resident of the United States.


The co-op position pays $17.00 per hour for first rotation co-op students, $18.00 per hour for second rotation co-op students, and $19.00 per hour for third rotation.
