Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer InternLocation: Dublin, Ireland Role Description:Working within the Site Reliability Team as a System Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for quickly detecting, diagnosing and resolving incidents impacting our infrastructure. The team is responsible for incident prevention through monitoring, automation, self-healing and resiliency initiatives, destructive testing and game day exercises.When things break (in a complex environment, failure is expected), our team’s tools enable early detection, automated probable root cause identification, rapid resolution and world-class transparency. Come help us build the best monitoring, automation, debugging and transparency tools at the biggest Enterprise Cloud Computing company!Role Responsibilities:-Enhance our monitoring systems by developing new software systems and algorithms to promote early detection, full stack and cross platform correlation, and automated probable root cause identification-Automate Site Reliability Engineering operations by developing software applications and API Integrations to connect disparate systems-Develop debugging tools to assist engineers in diagnosing production service problems-Work with a highly skilled global team in a 24/7 environment.Desired Skills:-Experience using Linux-Familiarity with open source and 3rd party Monitoring Systems (Nagios, kafka, SMARTS, etc.)-Agile development experience/understanding-Python or other scripting language experience-Systems/Network administration knowledge
