The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is accepting applications for part-timeMember Service Representatives for the summer outdoor pools: Wilson Ranch,Portal, Monument Valley Park and Prospect Lake. Applicant must be at least18 years of age, mature, outgoing, prepared to deliver the highestquality customer service to all members and guests through consistentlyproviding above and beyond service, anticipating needs, conductingtours, interviews and follow-up with prospective members. Preferredcandidates will represent the ability to have initiative, good judgment andability to make decisions independently but to also consult leadership withquestions and concerns. Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills,negotiation, client presentation skills and proven track record of meetingor exceeding member acquisition goals. Candidate must have flexible scheduleas the shifts may include mornings, evenings and weekends. This is aseasonal position that could turn into a year-round position based onavailabilMINIMUM CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES: Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma (or equivalent) and customer service experiencepreferred. Minimum two years of experience serving the public Ability to work well and effectively communicate with a diverse populationin a wide variety of situations Confidentiality and excellent organizationalskills are strongly emphasized. Must exercise good judgment in decision making Must be accurate in cash handling and demonstrate strong organizationalskills All YMCA staff positions require certification in CPR/AED-ProfessionalRescuer, First Aid and Oxygen Administration.
