The Quality Engineering Co-op works with the Quality Engineering function for Devicor Medical Products, Inc. and participates in planning, execution and implementation activities for New Product Development, VAVE, and Sustaining Engineering projects. Responsible for compliance programs as it relates to new and existing products. * Supports Quality Engineers with product improvement through implementation of quality management policies, procedures, specifications, test methods and measurement systems. * Provides support for product reliability assessments and reliability test plans. * Develops risk management plans, reports, and utilize risk management tools such as FMEAs. * Provides support in the development of inspection plans, First Article Inspection, In-Process and Final Product Inspection, Sampling Plans, inspection and acceptance criteria and Design Validation Testing. * Applies sound systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues under the direction of other team members. * Participates in and assists with the coordination of elements of investigations regarding customer complaints. * Provides support for process capability studies or special studies necessary to increase control and lower total quality costs.

Experience * Previous Co-op experience in an engineering and/or quality assurance function is strongly preferred. * Experience in medical device is preferred. Education * Matriculated student working toward a Bachelor’s degree (BS) in engineering (or related field equivalent) required. * Minimum GPA 3.0 within curriculum is required.
