Booster Summer 2018 MBA Product Internship in Burlingame, California
Do you want to impact the lives of nearly everyone by eliminating the errand of going to the gas station? Booster has redesigned the infrastructure required to deliver gas to consumers and replaced the gas station with a mobile delivery truck. Park, push a button, and get gas delivered while you’re away, all at the same price as the gas station, and no delivery fees.
Booster is looking for a Product Intern for the 2018 Summer. There are multiple available projects that are available for candidates to select from. The goal is to define the business and product strategy for a new space that Booster is considering, leading the Product discovery and definition, and validating the opportunity through a pilot. Success is to be able to move from pilot to launch at scale by the end of the internship. The potential projects include:
Automated car servicing (connected car platforms integrations, dedicated hardware/IOT)
Autonomous car service
Car servicing as an open ecosystem for business and consumers
Residential consumer go to market
Entry into new geographies
Own the initiative end-to-end, interacting with all key functions at Booster: Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales.
Interact regularly with the founding and executive team to discuss options and validate direction.
Establish business case and key success metrics.
If needed, lead market and consumer research to validate hypothesis.
Form initial proposal of lean in-market products and offerings that can be launched on a fast timeline.
Oversee the development and launch of the product as a pilot.
Lead cross-functional execution of the project and report regularly on findings, progress and results to the Booster executive team.
MBA student with a focus on general management, marketing or product management.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
2+ years of experience in product development, business analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis preferred.
Passion for pursuing a career in technology.
Self-motivated, creative, scrappy and adaptable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented and highly organized.
Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and team-oriented.
Self-starter and relentless personal drive to get things done.
