State of Massachusetts Emergency Management Internship - Summer 2018 in Boston, Massachusetts

Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the creation of multidisciplinary drills and exercises and participate in their execution
Assist with the development and delivery of security awareness and emergency preparedness training for employees
Shadow emergency management professionals as they respond to MEMA and/or Emergency Operations Centers during planned events
Help create and implement a variety of emergency plans, procedures, and policies.
Use and research tools, services, and products that can improve MassDOT’s emergency management capabilities.
Examples of Specific Projects:
Support design and implementation of Security Awareness & Emergency Preparedness training program for administrative employees
Support design and conduct of MBTA 2018 Subway Evacuation Drill
Support Boston Fourth of July Celebration event planning
