Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of multidisciplinary drills and exercises and participate in their execution

  • Assist with the development and delivery of security awareness and emergency preparedness training for employees

  • Shadow emergency management professionals as they respond to MEMA and/or Emergency Operations Centers during planned events

  • Help create and implement a variety of emergency plans, procedures, and policies.

  • Use and research tools, services, and products that can improve MassDOT’s emergency management capabilities.

Examples of Specific Projects:

  • Support design and implementation of Security Awareness & Emergency Preparedness training program for administrative employees

  • Support design and conduct of MBTA 2018 Subway Evacuation Drill

  • Support Boston Fourth of July Celebration event planning



Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student for Fall of 2018
