The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's Internship Program has had long-running success. Our interns gain valuable experience while contributing significantly to the business of the Federal Reserve. Many interns subsequently return to the Reserve Bank for full-time employment post-graduation.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's is currently accepting applications for non-technical interns who may provide a broad range of accounting, finance, business, administrative, and analytical support to the FRB Boston. College students who are currently enrolled in an accredited program, having completed at least their freshman year, and who major in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or other applicable majors are encouraged to apply. Interns hired for the summer of 2017 are expected to work from approximately June 1 to September 1.
_Principal Accountabilities:_ • Analyze, synthesize, and correlate data from multiple sources into the desired output • Conduct research that supports the Fed’s missions and ongoing programs • Project coordination, participation, and analysis tied into the Bank’s high-level objectives • Participate in writing and editing communications and reports • Assist in department-specific objectives and operations, assist with process-improvement projects when applicable.
*Knowledge and Experience:* • Progress towards a degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or other applicable majors
