We are looking to hire 2 successful candidates for this role ​.

Primary Focus

The successful candidate will be a member of the team responsible for assisting the Belleville PLM crew as required.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Assist with cleaning all parts of the PLM Shop

  • Maintain the grounds at Belleville PLM Shop ( i.e. cutting grass, look after landscaping ,etc.)

  • Paint at PLM Shop ,Valves & Stations

  • Assist PLM with signing the ROW

  • Assist PLM with Emergency Response exercises and looking after Emergency Response equipment

  • Assist PLM staff with locates and any other PLM work that is within their ability and is safe

  • Cutting weeds at Stations and Valves

  • Assist with organizing storage areas

  • Assist with putting together PAP packages

  • Attend Safety Meetings and other relevant meetings

  • Equipment inventories, ER equipment inventories

  • Assist with clerical tasks when and if required ie: filing, data entry, reception, copying, scanning, etc


  • Students must be returning to post-secondary schooling in the fall

  • The position will include a mix of shop, field and office work. These positions require physical work while painting, landscaping and assisting PLM and E&M technicians. Heavy lifting could be required occasionally. Field work can be physically demanding during hot, humid conditions

  • Ability to stay away from home for days at a time

  • Ability to deal with all types of outdoor environments (i.e. pollens , heat, cold, rain,etc.)

  • A willingness to learn and ask lots of questions

  • Ability to operate some equipment i.e. lawnmowers, weed cutters, post installers, basic hand tools, painting equipment, etc.
