ManTech Contracts/Subcontracts Administrator - Summer Intern in Altadena, California

The Contract/Subcontract Administrator Intern positions require a forward thinking individual comfortable actively participating in all aspects of procurement as part of a dynamic team. The successful candidate builds strong internal customer relationships, has strong attention to detail,takes personal accountability for timely completion of assignments, and thrives in a fast paced deadline-driven environment.

The Contracts/Subcontracts Administrator Intern positionprovides support of contracts, purchase orders or subcontracts, teaming supportduring capture and proposal activities, as well as data entry into the costaccounting system. Under the direction of the Contracts Manager or the SubcontractsManager, the Intern will support tracking contract deliverables, proposals,negotiations, order processing, and assist with reporting andcontract/subcontract management.

Qualifications:

Enrolled in Bachelor's degree in business or business-relatedfields such as management, finance, economics, supply chain management,accounting or pre-law, with a cumulative GPA 3.0 or above.

Must be organized, detail oriented and demonstrate strongtime management skills and be able to coordinate and prioritize multipleprojects in a fast paced environment.

Strong analytical, writing, financial, and negotiationskills.

Must have excellent written and verbal communicationskills, and be able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage shiftingpriorities.

Must be able to develop and maintain professionalrelationships with peers, vendors and customers, and contribute to aprofessional work environment by demonstrating integrity, teamwork and apositive attitude.

Must have excellent MS Word and MS Excel skills.

Desired Qualifications:

-0 - 2 years' experience in Federal Government Contracts,Subcontracts or purchasing.

Business internship or business work experience is highlydesirable

Knowledge of applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations(FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR):
