Job Description

The purpose of this project is to identify the key planning parameters loaded in the material master, identify how the parameter affects material planning, and determine who should be responsible for maintaining each parameter. The goal is to create an IMS document that will be followed by all NAM employees responsible for material planning.

Project Plan:

  • Define all planning parameters associated the material master

  • Determine how each parameter affects SAP material planning

  • Define “families” of materials which will share common parameters

  • Identify owner of each parameter

  • Determine frequency parameter maintenance (day, monthly, annually, etic)

  • Identify missing data from part parameter fields

  • Assist in updating parameters

  • Prepare IMS document detailing all the above

  • Represent Company in a positive, professional manner.

  • Support and adhere to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Required Skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Personal Computer knowledge

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Keyboard/typing skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Required Experience

Intern applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Relevant major is required.
