Summer Actuarial Intern -- Health

INTRODUCTION

Milliman, one of the world’s largest providers of actuarial and related products and services, is looking for motivated applicants for an internship opportunity at our Windsor, Connecticut office during the summer of 2018. We offer competitive pay and the opportunity to work on real world assignments in a fast-paced, exhilarating health consulting practice.

RESPONSIBILITY

Interns contribute to a wide variety of exciting and interesting projects, including:

  • Pricing, reserving, valuation and financial projections for Medicare Part D and various public and private sector clients.

  • ACA compliance support for insurance carriers, state health exchanges and employers.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Preferred applicants are those who are working towards a degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science or a related field, or an actuarial designation. Proficiency in Excel is required. Programming and prior internship experience or work is a plus, but not a requirement for all positions.

TIME COMMITMENT

These are temporary positions in mid-June to mid-August, respectively.
