Eaton Corporation Finance Intern (Summer 2018) in United States
Eaton's Vehicle Group has an opening for a Finance Intern for Summer 2018. This position is located at our Vehicle Group Headquarters in Galesburg, Michigan.
Eaton's summer internship program is designed to provide opportunities to students who demonstrate the same high level of ethics, values, creativity and performance we expect from our employees. During the 12-week paid internship, students will work on projects and be assigned to responsibilities that have a measurable impact on our business and will be coached and mentored by Eaton Finance leaders.
As a participant in the program, you will complete assignments that will give you the hands-on experience to get started in your career. This assignment will be focused on finance functional excellence for Vehicle Group North America (VGNA). The three primary focus areas are centered on improving efficiency, increasing effectiveness, and deploying Eaton Lean Six Sigma tools across VGNA Finance. The deliverables of this role will be to design and lead projects in these three key arenas. Specific projects will be determined based on the current needs of the function. The assignment goals will center around project management metrics and collaboration with others in the function. This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone who is focused on continuous improvement.
Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance or Accounting
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or higher (please do not round).
Geographically flexible and willing to relocate within the United States for the duration of the internship.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
Desire to build a career in accounting/finance
Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community
Self-motivated and a strong desire to achieve results
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
