A Verizon Telematics Internship, which is part of the overall Verizon Campus Program will give you a chance to channel your drive and enthusiasm.
What you’ll be doing…
You will have the opportunity to work in a fascinating innovation group that seeks to develop next generation Telematics, data science, and automotive Proofs of Concepts. Aspects of the job will be championing projects related to using automotive data to develop use cases, doing data science, creating new apps that illustrate new use cases depending on interest and areas of education.
As a Technology Summer Intern, you may work in these areas:Automation Testing / System Administration / Cloud Infrastructure / Cloud Platform / Data Analytics /Data Modeling/ Mobile / Digital app Development / Security/ Software Development / Device Engineering

You’ll need to have:•Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent major with an expected completion date between December 2018 and June 2020
Even better if you have:•Experience in any of the following skills / technologies: Android and iOS programming, Application development, OBDII, Python, MATLAB, C, C++, C#, Java, Perl, AWS, SAS, R, Eclipse, SQL, Linux Administration, Hadoop, Security Administration, Device Engineering•3.2 GPA or higher•Strong analytical skills and solid communication skills•Previous related internship/work experience preferred
