A Day in the Life of an Engineering Intern:
The Engineering Intern in Ozark, AL will work with area engineers to resolve questions related to time values and make revisions if required. In this role, you will:
Use metric development and analytics tools.
Work with engineering management to receive assignments and make recommendations for improvements.
Work on a variety of projects and support build team personnel with information necessary to complete daily tasks.
Minimum Requirements for an Engineering Intern at Bell:
A firm understanding of essential engineering job functions, processes and principles.
Strong computer skills, especially with: Computer Aided Design, MS Windows, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Must be able to fulfill the full length of the Summer Intern Program (May 29, 2018 – August 10, 2018)
Excellent interpersonal skills that can be used when communicating with coworkers.
A strong passion for working in the aerospace/manufacturing industry.
Education Requirements :
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering at a four-year university.
3.0 minimum GPA.
Must be a current student enrolled in a university and pursuing a degree at the time of the Summer Intern Program.
Ideal Candidates Also Have:
Previous internship experience in an engineering role, preferably at an engineering firm or manufacturing company.
Experience working with cross functional teams, which creates an atmosphere for high levels critical thinking.
Experience in rebuilding cars and engines, motorcycles, or remodeling different tools and equipment.
A strong work ethic and drive to be successful in a busy work environment.
