Reference #: 84326 Job Location:Hershey, PA Finance Undergrad Co-Op The Hershey Company is seeking to fill multiple undergraduate-level co-op positions across a variety of functions within our Finance organization. Co-Op positions require a full-time (40 hours / week) commitment during Summer 2018, and a part-time commitment (20-25 hours / week) during the 2018-2019 school year. Performance will be calibrated throughout the assignment, and successful interns will be considered for full time employment after completion of their college degree. Potential areas / departments that will be hiring co-op candidates include: Corporate FP&A Gain valuable experience and insights into the corporate FP&A environment of a Fortune 500 company through: Support of the corporate Margin for Growth initiative tracking, reporting and analysis; Execution of process optimization and enhancements in planning activities; Support of system work / template changes due to new ERP and reporting requirements; and Completion of ad-hoc planning, reporting and analytics projects as they arise during the course of ordinary business. Standard Cost Accounting Support the Standard Cost Accounting team and gain significant experience / exposure to Hershey's SAP ERP system by: Extending material master views for plant products in SAP; Creating bills of materials; Costing new items at select plants by creating routing and additives for assigned plants; Reporting on In & Open Sales, COGS and gross margin for 3 margin regions; and Serving as a back-up to the Manager in marking and releasing cost standards for production. US Sales Finance Support the US Sales Finance organization, focusing on trade management, by learning and utilizing a Windows-based trade management system. Examples of daily duties include preparation of analysis, commentaries, and supporting schedules that detail and summarize customer financial performance; support of the customer plan data review process; response to promotion and funds management inquiries...
