A Day in the Life of a Production EngineeringIntern:
The Summer Production Engineering Intern providesproduct support, identifies process improvements and works with BellHelicopter's manufacturing teams to resolve issues and deploy new solutions.You will:
Supportproduction/technology development, process improvement, and project manage newaircraft.
Use your passion forengineering to drive and identify: process capacities, failure modes, andcorrective action/improvement opportunities.
Develop new processesand validate corrective actions by using computer aided software packages andstatistical analysis software.
Work among a team ofdriven production engineers to measure project performance. Assignments will beassigned directly from production engineering management.
Minimum Requirements for a ProductionEngineering Intern at Bell :
Knowledge using ComputerAided Design through school or previous experience.
Working knowledge ofMicrosoft Office Products.
Willingness to learn,self-motivate, and develop real skills that can be applied to futureopportunities.
Must be able to fulfillthe full length of the Summer Intern Program (May 29, 2018 – August 10, 2018).
Education Requirements :
Must be a full-timestudent pursing a Bachelor’s degree in any functional area of engineering.
3.0 minimum GPA.
Must be a current student enrolled in a university and pursuing a degree at the time of the Summer Intern Program.
Ideal Candidates Also Have:
Experience working withcomputer aided design (CAD) software packages, statistical analysis programs,and scripting/programming.
A passion for workinghands on with materials in the automotive and aerospace industries.
Previous experience withautomotive, aerospace, or transportation companies.
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and organizational skills.
