We are seeking a 2018 Summer Service Support Intern in Columbus OH. In this role, you will support our customer service team by answering customer calls for service, verifying and/or establishing the commercial requirements of the transaction. You will assist with assignments from data cleanup to new project rollouts. You will be responsible for various tasks around customer service and improving the overall customer experience.

Some of the things you will work on:
Interface with internal and external customers to provide information about service orders
Establish new service orders in the SAP business system in accordance with new or revised commercial relationships.
Enter customer contact related information into the SAP business system accurately.
Research and analyze special projects as assigned.
Presents ideas; collects and organizes recommendations from feedback of stakeholders and internal resources
Acts as engaged part of the team; presents excellence in professionalism and communication in daily interactions
We are looking for students who:
Are pursuing a BA/BS Degree in Business/Marketing/Communications (can be entering Sophomore Junior or Senior year) from an accredited university
Have experience in Customer Service and report analysis.
Have experience in Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Displays original thinking and creativity by developing innovative approaches, ideas and solutions. Demonstrates attention to detail and timeliness.
Ability to interact with customers to discuss their concerns and direct them to the appropriate department
Work effectively within the Service Support department and Field Service Operations.
Be able to interface with other departments and teams in a professional and cooperative manner
Strong customer service ethic and ability to articulate to customers the value of Mettler Toledo’s service products.
Work diligently and professionally in the pursuit of department and company goals. Be able to display a disciplined professional attitude at all times.
Prioritizes and plans work activities with a strong consciousness to deadlines; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Develops realistic action plans; Outstanding ability to multi-task.
Meets productivity standards while demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness at all times; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
