Summer Intern - Innovation & Advanced Development

The responsibility of the Innovation & Advanced Development intern is to support the execution of the Innovation & Advanced Development roadmap to deliver new concepts and technologies to Engineering which are feasible and meet customer requirements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
May possess and demonstrate advanced knowledge in a specialized field and broad knowledge of several related disciplines within a function
Executes projects efficiently with a start-up mindset using iterative development methodologies to demonstrate and assess new concepts
Exhibit high energy and passion to achieve goals
Participate in technology scouting activities. Explore ideas from a wide range of disciplines and fields.
Adapt quickly to new ideas and new information.
Listen, communicate, and engage effectively within the Innovation & Advanced Development Team and across the organization, especially with then Engineering Team.
Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, negotiate, and work within a team environment.
Pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering
Sophomore year must be complete by the start of the summer internship program for undergraduate candidates.
Minimum 3.0 on 4.0 GPA scale.
Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative (e.g. school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership on school/work projects).
