RQ CONSTRUCTION, LLC Intern - Design/Architecture (Summer/Temporary) in Carlsbad, California
RQC is accepting applications for Architect/Design Interns to gain valuable experience working with our seasoned and talented in-house Architecture Team. We are a true Design/Build company, with over 200 total employees, including our dynamic 20+ Architectural firm-within-a-firm team. We have 10 licensed Architects on staff, and talent hailing from some of the top commercial Arch/AandE firms in the nation. We utilize the highest levels of design and 3D technologies (primarily Revit) for production and construction.Interns will work during summer break (and semester breaks if available) at our Carlsbad Headquarters. Temporary relocation to the Carlsbad office for the duration of the internship may be required.Qualifications:Currently enrolled in a Bachelorsand#39; Degree Architecture Program at an accredited institutionPrefer students going into their 3rd, 4th or 5th (if applicable) yearRevit skills highly preferred, though we are willing to do some trainingIntermediate ACAD and Sketchup stills required. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and MS Visio preferred, but not required.This is a wonderful way for selected internship candidates to experience first-hand the exciting and fast-paced world of an integrated design/build firm. Interns will gain valuable exposure to the practical applications of the formal education they are currently receiving. We make certain that our interns are given real-world project responsibilities.
