Position Responsibilities\Requirements:

Potential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Learn

  • Gain understanding of FIS’ presence in the financial technology (FinTech) industry and the complex array of bank solutions

  • Learn about the account management organization and the different roles, tools and processes that drive the sales process

  • Access professional development opportunities and career guidance resources

  • Participate in a summer reading program and leadership discussion series

  • Participate in weekly education programs featuring managers from different departments across FIS

  • Engage

  • Work directly with an assigned manager in the FIS account management organization, completing projects that impact sales efficiency and effectiveness

  • Participate in meetings and contribute to current sales organization initiatives

  • Develop presentations with insights and feedback for managers and various members of the sales organization

  • Analyze

  • Research and prepare proposals with best practices for the sales organization

  • Analyze FIS sales opportunities and the contributing factors to sales growth

  • Create visualizations of analyses and sales organization data

  • Empower

  • Improve the data quality and distribution of data throughout the sales organization

  • Update internal client data and client relationship information

  • Create educational presentations on new and relevant industry disruptors

  • Prepare client profiles and partnership reviews for Strategic Account Managers


  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a degree in a related field of study

  • Displays good written and oral communication skills

  • Excels in both individual and team working environments

  • Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of MS Office

  • Ability to work in one of FIS’ strategic locations for the duration of the internship

  • GPA requirement of 3.0 or higher

  • Additional skills, knowledge, and experience may be required based on the type of functions the incumbent will perform.
