The Commercial Credit Underwriting Internship Program is a career development program designed to build KeyBank risk professionals through intense training, work experiences, cross-functional experiences, robust feedback, and performance management.
About the internship
The internship spans 10 weeks in the summer at our East Credit Campus, located in Brooklyn, Ohio. As an intern, you will utilize credit systems, review company credit information, and understand how credit is determined. In addition to day-to-day credit training, you will participate in a variety of special events and activities with current KeyBank Commercial Credit Analysts and Leaders to increase your banking industry knowledge.

What are we looking for?
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
• Outstanding academic achievement (3.0 GPA minimum, 3.3 GPA preferred)
• Strong accounting and financial acumen
• Good analytical and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated teamwork through extracurricular activities
• Effective oral and written communication skills

Key’s Campus Programs include opportunities for interns, full time Analysts, and advanced degree individuals as follows: - As a KeyBank intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on various projects and networking with management and other professionals in selected areas during your 10 week program. Upon successful completion of the internship, you will have the opportunity to be considered for a full time role in the respective Analyst program upon college graduation of your bachelor or graduate degree. Some of the internship areas include Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Risk Management and Technology. - Key’s Analyst Programs work by combining on-the-job training, hands-on experience and department rotations while preparing you for a long-term career with Key. All Key Analysts begin their career with the JumpStart Program, a unique onboarding experience for new college graduates.
