JOB TITLE: Temporary Summer Job Coach June 6th-July 8th

DIVISION: Workforce Advancement

REPORTS TO: Summer Youth Employment Team Lead

Reports to the Summer Youth Employment Team Lead Transition Specialist. Job coach is responsible for staying at the worksite supervising the students that are assigned to that location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Communicate effectively with work site supervisor to ensure participants’ understanding of company policies and procedures and of the essential job requirements for each participant. 2. Work side-by-side with each assigned participant to help them with job duties company policies and procedures and proper work behaviors. 3. Keep worksite supervisor informed of each participant’s progress and possible issues that need resolved. 4. Document in daily notes each participant’s progress and issues. 5. Help each participant complete required forms and time-sheets. 6. Attend scheduled meetings and staffings 7. Works collaboratively with others including other duties as assigned to further the Goodwill Mission.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Issue participant pay checks on pay day. 2. Keep Summer Employment Team Lead informed with the daily progress of the worksite


This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.


  1. High School graduation or GED required.
  2. One year’s experience working with at-risk youth or one year’s worth of college course work in social services education or related field required.
  3. Previous experience in working with youth or children with disabilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Skill in Sign or Spanish 2. Teaching experience


$14.00-$16.00/ hour depending on experience and qualifications No benefits
